NSWCDD intends to procure on a non-competitive basis, software support maintenance for specific Compaq Computer Corporation (formally Digital Equipment Corporation) software products. The support includes software updates, software documentation updates, and round the clock telephone technical support. The supported software is located at the (1) AEGIS Computer Center, NSWCDD Dahlgren VA: (2) AEGIS Training and Readiness Center, Dahlgren VA; and (3) AEGIS Combat Systems Center, NSWCDD Detachment, Wallops Island VA. A one-year contract with options for four additional years is planned. DEC/Compaq software associated with the following will be supported: VAX and Alpha architectures, printers, terminal servers, Hierarchical Storage Controllers, tape drives, and other equipment which supports VMS, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
