R -- PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR NEW AND IN-PROGRESS PROGRAM SUPPORT ACTIVITIES FOR THE RYAN WHITE CARE ACT SOL HRSA-99-HAB-A70156 DUE 072699 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. In accordance with Part 13, award will be limited to Small Business concerns. The purpose of this procurement is to provide assistance to the Division of Training and Technical Assistance, HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) for new and in-progress program support activities for the Ryan White Care Act. The contractor shall: collect information on ongoing grantee TA needs and information from designated HAB meetings, TA reports, and other events, and report findings to HAB staff; work with HAB staff to produce five TA reports and products -- document topic areas include: 1) HIV/AIDS needs assessment and planning, 2) primary care, 3) antiretroviral therapies and opportunistic condition treatment/prophylaxis, 4) health care financing including managed care, and 5) outcome evaluation; prepare reports on issues related to grantee TA needs and projects produced under the Ryan White Technical Assistance Contract (TAC); assist HAB staff in the development of its TA products and monitor the development of all TAC written TA products produced by HAB; coordinate two national technical assistance conference calls (on Medicaid and the CARE Act in conjunction with quality of care); and prepare two HRSA AIDS Advisory Committee (HAAC) meeting reports.
