Work consists of dredging approximately 2,500,000 cubic yards of material from the Craighill Entrance Channel, and Ft. McHenry Channel (50 feet deep and 700 feet wide); Craighill Angle (50 feet deep and 700-1,860 feet wide); Curtis Bay Channel (50 feet deep and 400-1,270 feet wide); Brewerton Channel Eastern Extension (35 feet deep and 450-600 feet wide); and Tolchester Channel (35 feet deep and 600 feet wide). The material will be dredged by clamshell and scow, hydraulic pipeline, or hopper dredge and placed in the Hart-Miller Island Containment Facility and/or the Poplar Island Containment Facility.
