This project consists of the design and construction of 60 family housing units to replace 60 existing family housing units. Housing unit types shall be as follows: nine (9) two bedroom units; thirty nine (39) three bedroom units; twelve (12) four bedroom units. Two bedroom units shall be duplex type, three bedroom units may be single or duplex type and may be combined with a two bedroom unit in a duplex. Four bedroom units may be duplex type, however, single family units are preferred. Project site is a clean site adjacent to existing family housing on the base. Work includes site clearing and bedrock excavation, utility systems, roads, sidewalks, and landscaping, privacy fencing and neighborhood playgrounds. Demolition of 60 units of existing family housing will be included in the contract. Demolition of the existing housing units will include asbestos and lead base paint abatement. The estimated value of the project is between $5MIL and $10MIL. This solicitation will be conducted in two Phases. In Phase One (Pre- Qualification), submittals will be evaluated to determine which offerors may submit proposals for Phase Two. Up to five (5) firms will be pre- qualified to participate in Phase Two.
