Project consists of relocating existing segments of Marienville Bike Trail away from streams to decrease sedimentation into streams. Relocation will include construction of new trail tread; installing new drainage facilities, including steel and plastic culverts and broad based dips; applying commercial surfacing; applying geosynthetics, including geotextile and geocells; blocking old segments of trail; seeding & mulching. Due to clearing width limitation on trail (2.5 meters), small equipment, capable of maneuvering between trees, will be required for this construction.
