Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services and supervision necessary to repair Emergency Generator/Switch Gear at Headquarters, Air Mobility Command, Bldg 1600, at Scott AFB IL 62225-5015. The principal items of work shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Providing a replacement 1000 KVA diesel generator in a new, seperate out-building. Included in the building location is the automatic transfer switch and associated electrical distribution panels. Demolition of the existing generator and related switches and panels within Building 1600 is included. Work includes asbestos and lead based paint removal. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Trade-Off (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the _Best Value_ to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The Magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The proposed contract herein is unrestricted. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on Electronic Posting System (EPS) which can be accessed at www.eps.gov./. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation and planholder list. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package and planholder list will not be honored.
