Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services and supervision necessary for the repair of Deluge System, Building 433, at Scott AFB IL 62225-5015. The principal items of work shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Furnish and install new 10_ OSEY gate valve to replace existing valve in discharge line to storage tank, replace existing 10_ discharge line between pump house and storage tank,replace existing 20_ discharge header in pump house, replace seals and bearing on existing four pumps #1 thru #4 and clean and paint pump frames, replace existing jockey pump, replace existing 10_ spool pieces on discharge of fire pumps #1 thru #4 with new flexible pipe connectors, furnish and install new flow meter on discharge line to tank, replace existing 16_ spool pieces on inlet of fire pumps #1 thru #4 with new flexible pipe connectors, inspect interior and exterior of existing 3,000,000 gallon above ground storage tank and prepare written report of findings, inspect and test cathodic protection system on existing 8_ five water supply main and replace anodes. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Trade-Off (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the _Best Value_ to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The Magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The proposed contract herein is unrestricted. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on Electronic Posting System (EPS) which can be accessed at www.eps.gov./. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation and planholder list. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package and planholder list will not be honored.
