The Aeronautical Systems Center intends to place a single order against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) F34601-97-G-0002 with General Electric Supply Company Support Services Section for the acquisition of the following F118-GE-100 support equipment: Three (3) distinct Moment Weight Scales, National Stock Number (NSN): 6670-NCD019477, Part Number (P/N): MW900, and three (3) Moment Weight Scale Calibration Systems; NSN: 6670-NCD019480, P/N: SE9988A. Each scale must be compatible with the Stage 1 Fan Blade Retainer which interfaces with the Space Electronics MW900 and SE9921 Moment Weight scales and holds the Blade in the proper attitude for measuring. Negotiations are anticipated to procure all listed equipment on a sole source basis from General Electric. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
