AN/ARN-149(V) Low Frequency Automatic Direction Finder (ADF) consisting
of 25-225 each Receivers (R-2382) NSN 5826-01-241-6869, 25-125 each
Controls (C-12192) NSN 5826-01-341-5089, 25-200 each Controls (C-12491)
NSN 5826-01-395-5325, 25-100 each Antennas (AS-4480) NSN
5985-01-446-2574. This quantity is for each year of a five-year period.
Delivery will be made to Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA. The Government does
not possess any technical drawings or performance specifications
completely defining the form, fit, and function of the item being
procured, and has no way of evaluating a substitute item. This
acquisition is a proposed sole source to Rockwell-Collins, Inc., 350
Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498, CAGE 13499, which is the
current source for this item. However, all responsible sources may
submit a proposal, which will be considered by this agency. Suppliers
capable of furnishing these units must so indicate by writing to
Commander, US Army CECOM, AMSEL-ACCA-B-AL (SAM), Ft. Monmouth, NJ
07703-5008. The response must include documentation such as test
results, copies of purchase orders if the supplier was a vendor to the
listed source, or a statement from the listed source indicating that
the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be
physically and functionally interchangeable with the unit from the
previous supplier. The successful supplier may be required to warrant
that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the
purpose intended by the Army. A delivery schedule of 90 days after
award is required. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination to Tobyhanna
Army Depot. Inspection and acceptance will be at source. Proposals are
