The Federal Prison Camp in Alderson, West Virginia is seeking a qualified organization to provide legal assistance to female inmates, one day per week (Thursday, excluding Thursday holidays). Legal assistance activities are to consist of interviews conducted by third year law students to individual inmates. Legal Assistance may cover a wide range of legal matters. ``Legal assistance'' may encompass issues such as post-conviction, immigration, family law, wills and trusts, property rights, sentencing and parole, inmate discipline or other correctional issues, and may entail the research of state/federal statutes and case law.
