To provide therapeutic specialty rental beds or overlays on a daily rental lease basis and provide a representative with clinical knowledge on skin care to assist staff in recommendation of type of bed required based on patient profile. The beds/ overlays shall be provided along with associated maintenance as needed on a rental/lease basis, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The following therapeutic beds or overlays are needed to support the United States Air Force Medical Center located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. Low Air Loss Therapy Beds/Overlays, Air Fluidized Therapy Beds/Overlays, Continuous Air Flow Pressure Reduction Mattress Overlays/Replacements, Bariatric Beds/Overlays, Kinetic Therapy Beds/Overlays, Pulsating Air Suspension Beds/Overlays, and Under Patient Scale System. A sealed bid, commercial acquisition is anticipated. Period of Performance is 01 Oct 99 -- 31 Dec 99. One, nine-month option, and four, one-year option periods may be awarded.
