The SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston intends to award a $855,849.00 Research and Development (R&D) sole-source contract to University of Texas SW Medical Center, Dallas, TX, in support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) BWD program. University of Texas SW Medical Center will be harnessing TLR4, the sole endotoxin "switch" protein, for instantaneous antimicrobial chemotherapy in vivo.
