Work consists of but not limited to the following: Construct an extension to the existing Maintenance Shop of steel frame and masonry construction; establish finish grades and finish floor elevations. All disturbed areas shall be restored to original conditions; Locate and field verify existing utilities and install connections; provide new overhead electric bridge crane and hoist (3.0 ton capacity) system; repair and extend existing vehicle exhaust system; replace existing pole-mounted transformers; upgrade power and lighting in existing office areas; install carbon monoxide sensors; and provide power, lighting and heating to new high service bay area; provide concrete apron; and add fire alarm system with heat and smoke detectors throughout building.
