Provide all labor, material, and equipment required to construct tower complete with all specified accessories and systems and have the work inspected and accepted by the Contracting Officer. The tower is the boresite for a radar system. Schedule approximately seven (7) weeks for others to install, connect, operate and certify radar borsite instrumentation on new tower. After which, demolition of original tower may be scheduled. Lead based paint has been identified in the original tower. Osprey nest on orignial tower can only be disturbed from 1 Aug through 15 Jan and only when nest contains no eggs or young. Removal of nest must be coordinated with and nest turned over to PAFB Environmental personnel to insure compliance with permits. Period of performance is 180calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 25 Jul 99 and RFP closing date of NLT 10 Sep 99 are tentative. The applicable SIC Code and size standard for this acquisition are 1623/$17.0M. The estimated range of this project is between $100K and $250K. The solicitation is unrestricted.
