Requirement consists of managing the transient aircraft maintenance program at Nellis AFB, NV, which includes, but is not limited to, receiving and processing transient aircraft; ensuring transient aircraft depart in a safe and timely manner; and managing special events and emergency services. Performance is anticipated to commence on or about 01 Apr 00. The contract will include the anticipated base period from 01 Apr 00 -- 30 Sep 00 and possibly four (4) subsequent pre-priced one-year options. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The applicable Standard Industry Classification (SIC) code is 4581 with a size standard of $5 million. The work is currently being performed in-house by military personnel, therefore, there is no previous contract information available. Proposals will be evaluated using lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-2.
