E-MAIL: Andrew M. Hubbard, Andrew.M.Hubbard@grc.nasa.gov. NASA Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field has received an unsolicited proposal from AnaLYtiC Entrainment Limited Liability Company. This company has offered to modify the Differential Reduced Ejector Analysis (DREA) computer code. These modifications include mathematical and computational extensions to DREA providing multiple N stream entrainment and mixing, constant pressure methodology, combustion/shear mixing, and enhancements to the fundamental mathematical formulation for supersonic shear in a reduced analysis form. These codes will support NASA's High-Speed Research program as well as future Base Research and Technology initiatives. The period of performance for this proposed effort is twenty-two (22) months. It is anticipated that 1000 hours of contractor-supplied desktop computing would be needed for the proposed work. This notice is for information only. Justification to permit contracting with AnaLYtiC Entrainment Limited Liability Company has been prepared using citation 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as its authority. Interested firms have fifteen (15)days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses received after the fifteen (15) days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered.
