The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for nonpersonal services to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to above and below ground inspection; non-destructive evaluation; furnishing and applying groundline treatment, internal decay treatment, and preventative fumigant treatment; and tagging and preparing inspection reports on the wood poles on approximately 250 miles of transmission line. This project will be performed in Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. All work shall be completed 360 days after contract award. The Service Contract Act will be applicable to this requirement. The projected bid opening date is on or about August 23, 1999. There will be one award as a result of this solicitation.
