The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) has a requirement to provide assistance to the Office of the Director, NICHD, to support activities and tasks, such as conference planning, preparation of reports, data management, program planning and evaluation, and various administrative functions, which are important to the success of NICHD's mission. This new acquisition will continue the work of the current contract by providing assistance and support for: 1) annual planning, advisory group and task force meetings; 2) the planning, development and transmission of materials from these meetings; 3) the establishment of systems to collect, review and monitor data and disseminate decisions emanating from the planning process; 4) the development of publications resulting from the planning process; and 5) the development and usage of qualitative and quantitative techniques for program analysis and evaluation. The Offeror will be asked to establish a qualified multidisciplinary staff and available consultants with demonstrated skills in: scientific reporting writing, editing and miscellaneous publishing support services; quantitative and qualitative analysis; preparing minutes, summaries and/or proceedings of scientific meetings, conferences and workshops; and planning, coordinating, and conducting meetings, conferences and workshops. The Offeror's offices must be located not more than 50 miles from Bethesda, Maryland, or not more than one hour's drive from NICHD offices in Bethesda, Maryland, to facilitate the Offeror coming to the Project Officer's Office at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda on a regular basis and on short notice, to discuss and review items of work to be assigned or already assigned but requiring revision.
