A. The purpose of this amendment is to change the offer due date and
provide answers to the questions submitted.; B. The offer due date is
hereby changed from 25 JUN 99 to 09 JUL 99.; C. All other terms and
conditions remain the same and in full effect.; Q1: What are the sizes
and weights of the floats and cables in tanks 1 and 2 (dimentions)?;
A1: No data is available regarding the weights and size of the floats
and cables. My best reccommendation at this time to have the
contractors field verify during the site visit.; Q2: What part of the
roof vent on tank 3 needs replacement? Is it welded or bolted on?; A2:
The roof vent on tank 3 is a 12" opening, mushroom type vent. The
mushroom and the screen associated with it have rusted away from the
neck. The mushroom appears to be welded to the neck.; Q3: Why do you
need TNRCC hatch on old tank,tank 4? A3: In accordance with TNRCC
290-43, c.2, the hatch must be a 30" opening. If it is not, it must be
corrected at such time renovaitons or repairs are done. The existing
hatch is 24", and we must correct it to meet the regulations. Posted
