NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER The 128th Air Refueling Wing, Milwaukee, WI intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Container Research Corporation, Glen Riddle, PA to provide one (1) each Aluminum Nose Stand for the KC-135R Aircraft. The stand is caster-mounted for rapid movement and positioning. Special design allows unit to be separated at center line to permit easier handling and more compact storage. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and Other Than Full and Competition in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)) (SOLE SOURCE) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). Solicitation will be made in writing. Anticipation award date is 7/8/99. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Firms that recognize and can provide the required supplies described above are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Firms believing they can provide the required supplies must provide supporting evidence. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responses received within 7 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
