SP -- TO OBTAIN INDUSTRY INPUT ON THE BEST METHOD OF INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF AIR FORCE SERVICES RESOURCE MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS AT APPROXIMATELY 85 AIR FORCE BASES WORLDWIDE. INDUSTRY DAY FORUM. The Air Force Services Agency will host an Industry Day forum on Wednesday, 11 August 1999 in San Antonio, Texas. The purpose of the forum is to obtain industry input on the best method of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of Air Force Services Resource Management functions at approximately 85 Air Force bases worldwide. The Industry Day allows interested parties the opportunity to present their company's views on the most efficient methods of providing those functions to the Air Force Services organizations. The Air Force Services Agency is open to all possibilities for streamlining of current resource management functions and/or any information regarding commercial services available to provide these same functions. Locations serviced include both the continental United States and international locations (all major U.S. Air Force installations). The scope of Resource Management functions being reviewed includes accounting and administrative services, payroll services, computer/communication systems support, and logistics support. The Industry Day will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Highway 281 North and Jones Maltsberger near the Airport. Registration will begin at 8:00 AM and the Services Agency will have a presentation beginning at 9:00 AM. Meeting areas will be available for interested parties to meet one-on-one with Services Agency personnel to provide individual feedback and presentations.
