Requirement consists managing transient aircraft maintenance program at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC, which includes, but not limited to, receiving and processing transient aircraft, insuring transient aircraft depart in a safe and timely manner, managing special events and emergency services. The solicitation is being issued in accordance with OMB A-76 and will not result in a contract if government price/performance is determined to more advantageous. This notice constitute the third of the three required notices. Performance is anticipated to commence on or about 01 Apr 00. The contract will include the anticipated base period from 01 Apr 00 _ 30 Sep 00 and possibly four (4) subsequent pre-priced one-year options. This solicitation is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The applicable Standard Industry Classification (SIC) for this acquisition is 4581 with a three-year average annual small business size standard of $5 million. The successful contractor will be evaluated using performance/price tradeoff procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-1, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Performance is significantly more important than price. Recent, relevant, past and present performance information is requested not later than 5 Aug 99. Recent, relevant, past and present performance is defined as performance of the same or similar type of work within the last three years.
