This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. 2. This is a request for quotation. 3. All Federal Acquisition Regulations aplicable to this solicitation must be abided by. 4. This solicitation is restricted to small business. SIC 1442, 500 employees or less. 5. The following is a list of contract line item numbers. a. Provide, deliver and tail gate spread gravel on refuge roads, CA-6 rock. Gravel is needed at the Batchtown Division of the Mark Twain National Wildlife Refuge near Batchtown, IL. Gravel to be spread 2' to 3' deep, 10' wide. 3,260 tons of gravel required. Provide per ton and total price. Delivery to be coordinated with Howard Phillips (618) 883-2524. Contractors are encouraged to visit the site of delivery by arranging access with Howard Phillips. 6. All items must be delivered by 20 Sep 99. 8. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerorsapplies to this solicitation. 9. Award will be made to the contractor offering the lowest price quote. 10. Contractors must include a copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with thier quote. 11. The clause FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. 12. Price quotes must be provided by 4:00 P.M. on 15 Jul 99 to the contracting office listed above. Contractors may fax thier price quote to (612) 725-1717, however quoters will do so at thier own risk and bear full responsibility to ensure timely and legible receipt of thier quote.
