set aside for small business. The Government intends to procure
through Simplified Acquisition Method (commercial items). SIC Code
2819; small business size standard 1,000 employees. Furnish
approximately 44,000 gallons of cationic polyelectrolyte which must be
in liquid emulation form, easily applied by metering pumps and water
miscible. It must be free from visible foreign matter and sediment and
suitable for potable water. It must be effective over a broad pH
range. The polyelectrolyte must be freeze thaw stable and require
nothing more than agitation to place thawed material back into useable
form. The total estimated amount is between $250,000.00 and
$500,000.0-0. All responsi-ble sources may submit a bid which shall be
consid-ered by the agency. In order to comply with the Debt Collection
Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the
Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a
Federal contract. The initial registration date expired 31 May 1998.
