This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). Submit written offers only (oral offers will not be considered), on requisitions F41636-99-Q-0792, this procurement is restricted to Small Business only. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10, Standard Industrial Code 8999. The contractor shall provide non-personal services in replacing 21 each target control assemblies (TCAs) with new TCAs. Each TCA shall include target coffin with two wings; MC-90 actuator with lifter arm; and control box containing mac valve, tubing, terminal strip, and wiring. For each TCA, furnish and install filter module (in control box), flash/strobe simulator, and hit sensor for a complete and operable target control subsystem. Replace underground electrical PVC and wiring, and PVC air lines between TCAs, including fittings and accessories. Install concrete pad at each TCA location, stub up all air lines conduit through pad. Rebuild 21 each target berms, and replace 21 each 6x6 timbers between berm and target coffin, including levelling/sloping berm.
