The ICE2 contract will provide Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) to the Department of Defense Intelligence Information Services (DODIIS) and Command & Control communities worldwide. The equipment to be supported consists of commercial, modified-commercial, and specifically designed equipment that was acquired through various acquisitions and program implementations, and specially designed equipment that was acquired through various acquisitions and program implementations. A typical ICE2 site may include servers, personal computers, workstations, Local Area Networks (LAN), secure and non-secure video systems, communications devices, imagery/ELINT exploitation equipment, weather radar sensors, and associated commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) software. Some sites are Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). Availability requirements range from moderate to extremely time critical, depending upon the specific function supported. Security requirements range from Secret to Top Secret with SCI clearance. The Government anticipates an early industry involvement/risk assessment workshop to be conducted 19 Jul 99 through 23 Jul 99.
