ACC Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Breeze-Eastern, Union, NY, for BL-27100-185 Rescue Hoist Training. The contract will include two training classes to support HH-60G Rescue Squadrons. The sole-source effort is based upon proprietary data maintained by Breeze-Eastern, the manufacturer of the hoist. Required training includes all aspects of the hoist's operations and maintenance to include operational practice and restrictions. Prospective contractors who believe they also have the capability to provide this service to the government should forward a brief description of their capabilities to the Contracting Officer not later than 12 July 1999.
