The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for Painting and Repairing of two 500,000 gallon Water Storage Tanks at Fort Riley, Kansas. The required work includes but is not limited to the following: commercial blast clean the exterior of the tanks, white metal blast clean the interior of the tanks, apply primer and two coats of alkyd paint to the exterior, apply an epoxy paint on the interior, remove paint with lead content from Tanks, check and repair catholic protection systems, install new manways in accordance with OSHA requirements tanks, paint valve pit lids, frames, valves and piping on both tanks, fasten existing handhole covers to existing catholic handholes on tanks, disinfect tanks, replace water valves in valve in valve pit at Tank 6995.
