The work of this project consists of the repair and rehabilitation of designated portions of the existing historic Adams Carriage House, Adams National Historic Site, Quincy, Massachusetts. The work includes, but is not limited to: repair of historic finishes, construction of new climate-controlled curatorial storage, installation of new toilet rooms, selective removal and replacement of electrical and mechanical systems, new utilities, new exterior chiller shed and new sprinkler system. All work will be performed under a single contract. The estimated construction range for this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. This request for proposals in issued pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and is open to all size firms.
