Correction: The quantities for this synopsis have changed from 550 to a minimum quantity of 2230, with a maximum quantity of 4500 flow formed cartridge cases. A three year Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery contract is anticipated. Lot acceptance testing will be required of these cases in accordance with MIL-C-18757/4C. The cartridge cases are thin walled cylinders approximately 33 inches long and five inches in diameter, with a inch thick closed end with a 1 inch threaded hole in center. Zinc plating in accordance with ASTM B633 is required. Delivery of the first lot of 520 is due no later than April 01, 2000. The remaining 1710 units are required to be delivered than 01 September 2000. Final inspection and acceptance will be performed at the contractor's plant. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Code is 3483 and the size standard is 500 employees.
