13 -- AMMUNITION, SMALL ARMS SOL ACB-99-P-0013 DUE 082799 POC Paul Shannon, Contract Specialist, 802-872-4111 The INS intends to issue a Request for Proposal for 7 types of ammunition, including but not limited to: .40 S&W 155 Gr. and 180 Gr.JHP (3 million rounds each), and .223 Rem. 62 Gr. SP (3 million rounds) and other calibers. Indefinite delivery/indefinate quantity and indefinite delivery/requirements contracts are anticipated. These will consist of a base period of one year with two option periods. One line item (.40 S&W 155 Gr.) will have an option for increased quanitiy. Delivery will be FOB Destination to numerous locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Guam. Product samples for each type of ammunition will be required.
