The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for the fabrication of large infrared glass windows of the following sizes: 13" x 7.2" x ", 13" x 10" x ", both rectangular; 18" x 13" x ?" elliptical; and 20" diameter x " round. The windows must have a high degree of homogeneity and exhibit a high percentage of transmittance. The Specifications will be included with the solicitation. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm fixed price orders. It is anticipated that there will be a base line item with three option line items. The total anticipated contract life is three years in which options may be exercised and orders may be placed. The minimum quantity to be ordered will be two (2) windows and the maximum quantity that may be ordered will be fifty (50) windows.
