The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for Acoustic Televiewer. THE USGS ANTICIPATES AWARDING THE PURCHASE ORDER TO Century Geophysical Corp, this companies equipment is incompatible with any other manufactures'. This equipment will be used with existing Century equipment. There is no attachment to convert Century's geophysical system to recognize another manufacturer's probes. If another manufacturer is used a full logging system must be purchased from them; this would be a great expense for USGS. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; no formal RFQ will be available. Vendors who manufacture the above item are invited to provide an affirmative response to this notice. An affirmative response must include, but not be limited to offered products, price lists, warranties, and any additional information indicating a bona fide ability to meet this requirement. All responses must be received in this office within 10 calendar days from the date this publication first appears. All responses must be in writing, no telephone requests will be accepted.
