Dawson, SEA 02423D, (703) 602-0200, ext. 414 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to extend Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-97-G-4176 with Litton Systems, Inc., Guidance and Control Systems Division, 5500 Canoga Avenue, Woodland Hills, CA 91367; for one year. The purpose of this BOA is to perform the following functions: a. Receive, Open, Inspect, Government -- owned, Litton Systems, Inc. -- Manufactured, Navigation Systems and Ancillary Equipment (AN/WSN-2, 2A, and 5), b. Repair, Alteration and Maintenance of Navigation Systems and Ancillary Equipment (AN/WSN-2, 2A, and 5), c. Preplanned Product Improvement (P3I) for Navigation Systems and Ancillary Equipment (AN/WSN-2, 2A, and 5), d. Provide replacement spares and components for Navigation Systems and Ancillary Equipment (AN/WSN-2, 2A, and 5). Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c) (1). Litton Systems, Inc., is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Navigation Systems and Ancillary Equipment (AN/WSN-2, 2A, and 5) and as such is the only company qualified to perform the above functions on its Navigation Systems and Ancillary Equipment. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
