The U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY is soliciting for Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services. The awardee shall provide Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services in a Government-Owned Contractor Operated facility. The awardee shall provide the managerial, administrative, supervisory, direct and overhead personnel, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to coordinate, plan and accomplish all of the laundry and dry cleaning services. This includes operations, individual piece rate -- cash and carry, organizational bulk-work, cash per bundle service, operation of call offices, pick-up and delivery service, processing claims, maintenance of equipment, cadet payroll deduction, hospital-medical treatment work, and housekeeping functions. Period of performance is tentatively scheduled to begin 01 October 1999 through 30 September 2000, with seven 1 year option periods. A thirty (30) days phase-in is scheduled for 01 September 1999 through 30 September 1999. A site visit will be conducted, date and time to be announced in the RFP. The acquisition will be competitively negotiated. The applicable SIC code and size standard is 7218/$10,500,000.
