Samilton, 918-669-7154 Construct an eleven level, 710 SM control tower
of precast concrete panels, with an optional brick exterior, over
metal framing channels with rigid insulation and gypsum board interior
walls. The foundation will be pier and grade beam supporting a
structural system of precast concrete beams and slab. The roof consists
of a modified bitumen product laid over rigid insulation and metal
decking. Ceilings in administrative areas will be lay-in acoustical
tiles. Floors will be vinyl composition tiles, carpeting or sealed
concrete. The HVAC will be two 88kw air-cooled chillers with electric
resistance heating. Reheat will be used for dehumidification. Primary
electrical service shall be 12,470 volt. Secondary power will be 500
KVA, 120/208 V, 3-phase, 60Hz. A 250 KW generator with a 1000-gallon
fuel tank will be required. Demolish existing tower. Construct 41,
100-ft high concrete poles for ramp lighting, with lowering devices.
Work includes 12 loop-fed, single phase, oil filled, pad mounted, 50
KVA transformers with associated boring and trenching. Removal of
existing medium voltage service and associated equipment for the
lighting vault and replacing it with 12,470 V service. Provide 300 KVA,
12,470/480, 3-phase, dry type, pad mounted transformer in NEMA 3R
enclosure. Provide two, 480/2400, dry type single phase, wall mounted
transformers for strobe lighting. Replace generator set and auto
transfer switch. Remove day tank from generator room. Replace existing
mechanical runway lighting control system with touch screen industrial
grade programmable system. Runway lighting system must remain
operational except for short, scheduled periods. Estimated cost range
of this project is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Plan and specifications
will be available on or about July 27, 1999, and will be provided on
Compact Disks (CD-ROMS). IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE NUMBER OF
CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans and specifications
will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. Requests for plans
