The work of this project consists of removing and disposing of old heating system components and furnishing and installing new heating system components. Old heating system components to be removed and disposed of include existing steam boilers, boiler feed unit, domestic hot water heater, unit heaters, automatic temperature controls for heating and ventilating units, radiation and boilers, fuel oil piping and equipment, and associated electrical work. New heating system components to be furnished and installed include new gas piping, steam boilers, boiler feed unit, domestic hot water heater and separate storage tank, unit heaters, automatic temperature cntrols for heating and ventilating units, radiation and boilers. Also, providing a concrete pad for the domestic hot water heater, associated electrical work, and other incidental work. The estimated cost of the work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Work shall be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed. Solicitation documents shall be available on or about 8/3/99 at a cost of $24.00 per set.
