Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and permits to renovate the CCAF FACILITY, BLDG 836, MAXWELL AFB, : PNQS94-1067, ALABAMA, in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings, terms and conditions of the contract. The work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following: General upgrade of accessibility, which includes the addition of ramps, handicapped toilet facilities and 3_ _0_ wide doors. Overall interior renovation which includes the demolition of some existing walls, the construction of some new walls, replacing hollow metal door frames, replacing metal and wood doors, installing gypsum board on metal framing to existing CMU walls, replacing gypsum board and lay-in ceilings and replacing interior finishes throughout. Install wood trim in designated command areas. Upgrade the building entrance and lobby by replacing the decorative wood panel and glass doors and frame, constructing a vaulted lobby ceiling, installing wood columns and trim and installing special lighting. Perform asbestos abatement procedure for pipe insulation and duct plenum. Remove existing radiators. Remove existing chilled water and drain piping, chilled water pump, air handling units in the basement and attic and exhaust system serving existing toilets. Install new chilled and hot water piping to fan coil units, chilled and hot water pumps, steam converter, new fan coil units, condensate drainage system and conditioned outside air distribution system. Remove and replace existing cold water supply piping in the building and modify existing hot water piping to new plumbing fixtures. Install new sanitary sewer piping for new public toilet facility. Remove existing plumbing fixtures, water coolers, etc. Install new plumbing fixtures, water coolers, etc. Remove existing power and lighting circuits. Install new lighting system, wiring system, distribution equipment, fire alarm system, telephone system, EMCX system and computer network system. Building demolition work is principally interior work involving partitions, finish materials, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) _ Price Performance Trade-Off (PPT), RFP No. F01600-00-R-0005, with a 450 calendar day performance period. SIC Code is 1542.
