This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared IAW the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation_offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposals (RFP) F41636-99-R0131. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10, SIC 1752. Contractor shall provide nonpersonal services to refinish various wood floors on Lackland AFB, Lackland Training Annex, and Wilford Hall Medical Center. The government reserves the right to add Kelly AFB workload in the basic period or any of the option years at a later date. Performance period is for a basic year, 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 00, and four option years. The complete Statement of Work and Bid Schedule can be obtained by opening one of the attachments to this solicitation. Contractor must bid on all items and submit a Quality Control Plan (QCP) along with their proposal to the government. The QCP shall include the name of the person responsible for quality control and an inspection and documentation system. The government, prior to contract award, will approve a final revised QCP.
