The NAWCAD intends to procure a Signal Generator, P/N 622-9921-001, it is used on the F/A-18AM, F/A-18AN, F/A-18C/D lot 16 and up and the F/A-18 E/F models. In addition, procurement for a Radio Test Set, P/N 622-9752-001 is intended. It is used to verify alignments and adjustments on the ARC-210 Radio Set. It is used on the F/A-18AM, F/A-18AN, F/A-18C/D lot 16 and above, and F/A-18 E/F models. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals must be received within 15 days. Responses should reference N68335-99-Q-2548. A determination by the government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. (SEE Note 22).
