Pomraning (410) 605-7156 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items for the Department of Veterans Affairs and is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. This annoucement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not requested; and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. Procurement of this item is on an other than full and open competition basis from Industrial Acoustics Company, Inc. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-11. The Standard Industrial Classification is 5047. The VA Maryland Health Care System, intends to purchase one (1) Industrial Acoustics Company Model 1400A-CT Sound Booth, OD 16'0"W x 11'4"L x 8'1"H. This procurement shall include installation and shipping; system 20 lookup software to allow VA supplied workstations to view previously stored audiometric data. Reports shall be printed on standard forms that includes audiometrics, impedance, comments, hearing aid data page, abr and eng summary data page and real ear capture page. Installation shall be required at the new location for the Cambridge Outpatient Clinic located in Cambridge, Maryland.
