This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The following Bruel & Kjaer products or equal are to be acquired: Item 1. 12 Ea., Falcon Free-Field 1/4" Microphone, Model No. 4939 or equal; Item 2. 3 Ea., Nexxus 4 Channel Microphone Power Supply, Model No. 2690-A0S4 or equal; Item 3.12 Ea., 1/4" Microphone to 1/2" Microphone Preamplifier Adaptor, Model No. UA0035 or equal. The microphones, adaptors and power supplies shall be fully compatible and interchangeable with existing B&K components. Therefore, the salient characteristics of equal products shall meet the form, fit and functions of the above items. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-11. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3679 and 500 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to Glenn Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44135 is required within 45 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
