Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technology Division, is seeking
sources for Large Improvised Explosive Device (LIED) access
technologies and disruption technologies. An LIED is an IED whose
volume is greater than one (1) cubic foot and whose payload is NOT
chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear. LIED delivery
mechanisms include but are not limited to: man-portable, small-vehicle
borne, and large-vehicle borne. Access technologies should provide the
capability to safely gain visible or physical proximity to an LIED to
enable further action. Disruption technologies should provide the
capability to prevent an LIED from functioning as designed by
separating the firing train components or by other means. This is for
informational purposes ONLY, and is not to be construed as a commitment
by the Government. Interested entities should submit responses to Karen
