Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for support services to perform
ergonomics reviews, training, consultation, and wellness program. The
following are basic requirements for the ergonomics services at the
NRL: (1) review injury and illness statistics, (2) review injury data
and identify those NRL codes or occupations at high risk for cumulative
trauma disorders (CTD), (3) develop and implement a plan for performing
walk-through surveys of all buildings at the NRL Washington and it's
local remote sites, (4) develop and implement a plan for performing and
evaluating ergonomic job task analyses, (5) develop and implement an
ergonomic training program, (6) develop an in-house back injury
prevention training program, (7) provide consultations with employees
and their supervisors in the areas where job task analyses were
performed the previous year, (8) provide a wellness program for all
employees, and (9) provide quarterly status reports on the activities
of the contract. A detailed statement of work will be issued with the
solicitation. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated for award.
