Site work will include earthwork, concrete paving, utility work, landscaping, brick screen walls and chain link fencing. The building will also have an approximately 1,000 sf truck dock and approximately 2,000 sf of extended metal canopy. The interior finish will consist of painted gypsum board, lay-in acoustical ceilings, floor covering of ceramic tile, vinyl composition tile and carpet. Electrical lighting and power distribution, security systems including a security camera systems, installation of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, glass and aluminum storefront, hollow metal doors and frames and paint in accordance with the plans and specifications. The site is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Bryant-Irvin Road and Dirk's Road in the City of Fort Worth, approximately two miles south of Interstate Highway 20 on Bryant Irvin Road. Estimated cost range $2,100,000 to $2,500,000 and construction time is 330 calendar days. Successful offeror must submit their Subcontracting Plan for Small and Minority-Owned, and Woman-Owned Business initially and thereafter with their progress payment requests. The contractor must subcontract with minority business firms in an amount aggregating not less than 10% and subcontract with woman-owned business firms in an amount not less than 7% of the total value of its subcontracts. Offeror must include documentation from bonding agent indicating offeror's capability at time offer is due. The successful contractor will be required to provide 100% Performance and 50% Payment Bonds within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of award. Offers will be received in this office, prior to, but not later than 3:30 p.m. on August 16, 1999.
