Work shall include the removal and disposal of asbestos contaminated materials in the form of building siding, pipe insulation, transite wallboard, floor tile and roofing materials. Buildings consist of block/wood structures on concrete foundations with concrete floor slabs. Some earth moving is required for filling and drainage. Utility lines (water, steam & air) shall also be properly cut and capped. The bid date is not firm, but will on or after September 1, 1999. Estimated range for this effort is between $ 500,000 to $1,000,000. Bonds will be required. West Virginia Contractors License must be submitted prior to the commencement of work by the Contractor and all Subcontractors. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 1, 1999.
