61 -- TRANSFORMERS FOR UPPER GREAT PLAINS REGION SOL DE-RQ65-99WA51465 DUE 082099 POC Noella Pregill, Contract Specialist, (303) 275-1512, Jon Olsen, Contracting Officer, (303) 275-1522 The Western Area Power Administration (Western) has a requirement for the following: one (1) 3-phase 230/115-13.2kV, 60/80/100 MVA power transformer (Group I), one (1) 3-phase 115-57-kV, 20/26.22/33.33 MVA power transformer (Group II), one (1) 3-phase 69-2.4kV, 500-kVA power transformer (Group III), one (1) 3-phase, 69-kV nominal voltage, 83/110 MVA voltage regulating transformer (Group IV), one (1) 3-phase, 12.47kV, 46,440-kVA grounding transformer (Group V), one (1) 3-phase, 345-kV, 50 MVA Shunt Reactor (Group VI). Each transformer will include transformer oil, tools, appliances, and spare parts. Delivery will be FOB Destination Within Consignee's Premises to various sites within Western's Upper Great Plains Region, and will include the services of an erecting engineer. Optional items include a gas-in-oil monitor for each transformer, and a load tap-changer monitor for the voltage regulating transformer only. Western will be issuing a Request for Quotations for the required transformers under the authority of FAR.13.5. RFQ DE-RQ65-99WA51465 will be issued o/a 7/22/99. This acquisition is a partial small business set-aside for Groups III and V transformers. Groups I, II, IV, and VI transformers are unrestricted.
