Transportation Systems center is in the process of updating the
audio-visual capabilities of three of its meeting/conference rooms. 1)
The Contractor shall provide the following type of equipment:
Multimedia Projector and Projector Ceiling Mount, Electric Front
Projection Screen with Low Voltage Switch Control, Touch Panel A-V
Control System, Videoconferencing System, Electronic Whiteboard,
Multimedia Personal Computer, Wireless Mouse/Laser Pointer
(combination), Color Inkjet Printer, 2-input Computer Interface with
buffered audio, Modular AV Connector Plate and Input Modules, Audio
Line Balancing Interface, Ceiling-mounted Omnidirectional Microphones,
Custom AV Connector Plate, Document Camera, S-VHS VCR, DVD Player,
Automatic Audio Mixer, Audio Mixer, Aud io Mixer Remote Control, Audio
Power Amplifier, In-Ceiling Flush-Mounted Speakers, Video Switcher,
Audio Switcher, Rear-Projection Monitor, Lectern Combination System,
White Board, Rack Mount System, Miscellaneous Cables, Connectors, and
Fittings for Installation and Integration, S-VHS VCR, Stereo A-V
Receiver, Wall-Mounted Plasma Flat-Panel Video Display, Multimedia
Personal Computer, Bookshelf Speakers (to be wall-mounted), and 2) The
Contractor shall provide engineering, programming, and installation of
the above items, which are to be integrated as a new installation along
with two wireless microphones and a Dual-Well audiocassette recorder
that the Government shall provide as Government furnished equipment.
Will also integrate this equipment with other A-V and computer
facilities within Volpe campus, document design and operation of
installed equipment. This procurement will be conducted as a commercial
acquisition under FAR Part 12. A Firm-Fixed-Price contract is
anticipated. The delivery and installation of all equipment shall be
completed on or before 60 days after contract award. This is a small
business set-aside; the applicable SIC Code is 3651. The size standard
is no more than 750 employees. The solicitation and any document
related to this procurement will be available on the Internet; these
documents will be available on a WWW server, which may be accessed
