A/E Firm to provide professional services for Project No. 826CM3005, Renovate Walls/Roads/Drainage/Rostrum, Alexandria National Cemetery, 1450 Wilkes Street, Alexandria, VA 22314-3424. Work consists of site surveys, inventory, technical analyses, schematic and design development designs and estimates for the renovation of existing perimeter walls and gate, internal roads, storm water sewer system, landscaping, and the existing rostrum. The contract will include an option to enter into a follow-on contract with the selected A/E for contract documents and construction period services. A/E team should include the disciplines necessary to do this type of work. Applicants must have an established working office within 50 miles of Alexandria National Cemetery of sufficient size and experience to accomplish this project. Interested firms desiring consideration are encouraged to submit Standard Forms 254 and 255, as well as up to ten (10) examples of past projects of this type, to the issuing office by August 9, 1999, or within thirty (30) calendar days from date of appearance of this announcement in the published edition, whichever is later. Selection will be based on the following criteria: 1) Civil and General Engineering experience of the firm and individuals in this type and scale of work; 2) Location of the firm within the specified geographical area; and 3) Previous experience with proposed subconsultants in accomplishing this type of work.
