F -- This is a small business set-aside. The work consists of loading
previously processed gravel (approximately 6,000 tons) located in two
existing stockpiles, and transporting the material to six locations
along the edge of the Lower American River. The work includes
associated road and site maintenance and traffic control. The work is
situated along the Lower American River between Mississippi Bar
(upstream of Nimbus Dam) to about 1 mile downstream of Sunrise
Boulevard in Sacramento County. NOTE TO PROSPECTIVE QUOTERS: FUNDS ARE
NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENT'S OBLIGATION
UNDER THIS CONTRACT IS CONTINGENT UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF APPROPRIATED
FUNDS FROM WHICH PAYMENT FOR CONTRACT PRUPOSES CAN BE MADE. NO LEGAL
LIABILITY ON THE PART OF THE GOVERNMENT FOR ANY PAYMENT MAY ARISE UNTIL
FUNDS ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER FOR THIS CONTRACT
AND UNTIL THE CONTRACTOR RECEIVES NOTICE OF SUCH AVAILABILITY IN
