The work consists of loading previously processed gravel (approximately 6,000 tons) located in two existing stockpiles, and transporting the material to six locations along the edge of the Lower American River. The work includes associated road and site maintenance and traffic control. The work is situated along the Lower American River between Mississippi Bar (upstream of Nimbus Dam) to about 1 mile downstream of Sunrise Boulevard in Sacramento County.
